Black Tie Karaoke was formed in 1997. Our focus started primarily as a wedding subcontractor, and has shifted towards nightclubs and bars. Some of the establishments that we have entertained at include The Rainbow Room, The Shady Nook, Varsity Lanes, Times, Vroom, Romanos, Ciminos, Hhffrrrggh, Park Place, The Office, Spartan Bowl, The Oh-Zone, Club Impulse, Quotes Bar and Grill and many others. Our longest-running show is at the Shady Nook, which we started in about 1999 (I know, we’re not getting any younger either). Anyone remember the big carpeted DJ box on wheels? While we have scaled back a bit from our prime, Black Tie Karaoke has had as many as 11 scheduled shows in one week, with 3 systems running simultaneously. As fun as that was, it is nice to have returned to our focus of a few great relationships and the occasional private party. |
